PRAYOG TEAMS

PRAYOG INDORE

Prayog Theater Group was formed by Satish Mehta along with Jyotsna Mehta on August 15, 1976 in Indore, India. Prayog staged several plays in Indore. Many of them were unique experiments, including the introduction of Street Plays to the audience of Central India. Audience loved and embraced this new era of drama, brought to them by Prayog. Prayog Indore developed an amazing set of talented artists. Artists like Late Mahesh Tiwari, Late Yogendra Joshi, Awadhesh Vyas, Kailesh Chopra, Tapan Mukherjee, Taral Munshi, Smit Mehta, Prathvi Sankhla, Lalit Mohan Pant, Rohini Gaikwad, Rajesh Dubey, Adil Qureshi, Madhu Dalal, Chaman Dalal, Chandrashekhar Dubey, to name a few. These artists became the flag-bearers of Prayog, not only in theater, but even in other fields, like Movie, Television etc.

PRAYOG BHOPAL

Prayog’s Bhopal Branch was formed by Satish Mehta, along with Jyotna Mehta, Smit Mehta, Sunil Gupta, Late Anwar Deshmukh, Prem Shrivastava in the year 1983. Prayog Bhopal has been the most active and successful Branch of Prayog, active till date. Prayog Bhopal has a very talented pool of artists. Besides the founders, there are amazing actors like Arvind Sharma, Vishwajeet Chatterjee, Late Mumukshu Mudgal, Parimal Bhattacharya, Awadhesh Shukla, Java Mehta Joshi, to name a few.

PRAYOG MUMBAI

Prayog Mumbai was formed in 1985 by Taral Munshi. Besides doing Theater work, Prayog Mumbai has also been active in Film and Television fields.

PRAYOG REWA

Prayog Rewa was formed by Anwar Deshmukh and Anwaar Siddiqui in the year 1992.

PRAYOG NEW JERSEY

Prayog’s first International Branch was formed in New Jersey, USA in 2012 with the help of Satish Mehta and Jyotsna Mehta. The founding members are Ameeya Mehta, Anu Mehta, Rakesh Nayak, Sonia Shah, Deepak Kumar, Dhairya Nayak, Mohit Jain. Prayog NJ has taken Prayog to newer heights internationally. Over the years Prayog NJ developed a very talented pool of artists - Ajit Singh, Dhananjay Nichakawade, Himashu Shrma, Puja Shourie, Dhanshree Vaidya, Anchal Sharma, Neeta Vyas, to name a few.
